EL conocimiento geográfico en las "Etimologías" isidorianas : algunas consideraciones
Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of certain geographical and ethnographical writings appearing in Saint Isidore of Seville’s “Ethymologies”. This field has not been studied by specialists in the Sevillian Bishop’s works. Thus, we expect the article to serve as a brief introduction regarding some points such as the sources used by the author, the mixture of elements taken from Classical tradition and Christian thinking as well as a deeper study of his vision of the world.Downloads
