Abstract

The present article tries on the stay of C. Asinius Pollio (78 B.C. -4 D.C.), the well-known historian and literary patron, as governor of the province of the Hispania Ulterior during the years 44-43 B.C. Key Words: Asinius Pollio, Hispania Ulterior, Cornelius Balbus, Gades.
