Convivencia e intransigencia religiosa en la Hispania del siglo V
Abstract
Although the social and political order favoured religious intransigence, it was not always imposed in fifth-century Hispania, where we find several situations of coexistence between persons who practiced different religious faiths. The acceptance or the rejection of the “other” depended, moreover, on several factors, above all on its status in society and on its cultural traditions. Religious intolerance was indeed used many times with the purpose of achieving aims unrelated to spirituality.Downloads
