Las islas del dodecaneso y la música del Egeo : pervivencias concluyentes sobre el tonismo en la antigüedad
Abstract
The musical tradition in the greek islands was and is placed in the Egean’s cultural and commercial cross-roads between islands and continent. The consequence was a rich traditional music for sing and dance; together, with the musical languaje, the differents locals dialects. We know that the greek people wrote their melodies using simbols and they used the musical accent, not the intensive accent like actually; it’s in some songs from these islands, like: gelidonismas and kalandas, where we can hear these musical accents in the melody.Downloads
