Algunas consideraciones en torno a la influencia griega en la conformación del signario ibérico oriental
Abstract
In this paper we try to demonstrate that the Greek alphabet exercised a decisive influence, and even with the direct adoption of some of its signs, in the creation of the Eastern Iberian Signary, although this had anoher Palaeo-Hispanic scripture as a main source. Nevertheless, this could hardly be the Southern Semi-sillabary. Such creation would occur in the North-eastern zone of the Iberian peninsula, and it would be done by an Iberian who knew other scriptures. Moreover, the way that such creation was made and the characteristics in the value changes of some signs, also denote some particular characteristics of the Iberian language, that can open new ways in its investigation and interpretation.Downloads
