Epigrafía en el papel : la revisión de las fuentes manuscritas
Abstract
This paper analyses the importance of an accurately revision of the manuscript sources for the study of the Latin epigraphy from the Roman and Visigoth periods. Thus, we try to show how the study of these documents allows the researches to a) uncover unpublished inscriptions, b) read properly previously known inscriptions, c) complete or correct deficient readings, d) authenticate inscriptions so far considered spurious, e) establish the exact origin of a given inscription and f) know the physical characteristics of a particular monument.Downloads
