Abstract

This paper aims to know the variables that influence the achievement of training on workers in the Rioja wine industry. Data collection is obtained by survey applied to the workers. We propose three groups of variables: workers' personal and labor characteristics, and the characteristics of organizations. The study is conducted with a sample of 230 employees, which is representative of the companies of the Rioja wine industry. The results are analyzed by hypothesis tests, and show that the variables that most influence the conduct of training are the level of education and the roles of employees in the company.
