La demanda de formación en el sector vinícola del Rioja
Abstract
The training needs analysis is the first step in the training process. Through the training analysis is possible to the company to determine how to develop and acquire skills needed by its staff to achieve business objectives. However, organizations often do not use to conduct a rigorous analysis of training needs to sustain their training plans. This paper analyzes the determinants of the demand for corporate training of the Rioja wine industry by controlling two types of variables: the business characteristics (location, size, legal form, quality certifications) and the changes that the organizations have been conducting (new markets, new products, technological changes, investment in construction and alterations in the trade name of the winery). To obtain research data was used the survey technique, applied to a statistically representative sample of the Rioja wine sector. The results show that there are a number of significant differences in relation to the completion of training between firms and, conversely, that the variables considered in the work as descriptive of the changes of the companies show a significant number of differences between the demand for training and the changes that these companies have been facing.Downloads
