Resumen

Esta contribución pretende reseñar los aspectos más relevantes que incorpora la Ley del Menor de La Rioja de 1998; hacer alguna observacion sobre aquellos artículos que el autor considera innecesarios porque están ya en el ordenamiento jurídico, y a la vez, reflexionar sobre algunos puntos que pudiera haber incorporado el legislador, principalmente, en la parte que constituye el núcleo fundamental y la razón de existir de la esta Ley, esto es, las instituciones de protección del menor desamparado.
