Special issue: Hydro-climatic extremes in a Global Change context

Since many regions of the world are experiencing more frequent and severe events of climatic and hydrological extremes in recent years, CIG’s second volume for 2024 is planned to be a special issue focused on the wide range of hydro-climatic extremes and episodes analysis. Therefore, we encourage authors to submit their valuable contributions to CIG focused on some of the following relevant topics for the Special Issue:

• Analysis on droughts (meteorological, hydrological, agricultural) characteristics and impacts.
• Floods and flash floods analysis and reconstructions.
• Hurricanes, typhoons, storm surges, cyclogenesis.
• Heat waves and tropical nights.
