Abstract

The Spanish Constitution has an educational value that can be deduced from all its provisions. It provides a image of the person who can be deduced mainly from the principle of human dignity as well as from the fundamental rights. It also proclaims the free development of personality, that regarding education can be translated into full development, that is the basis and purpose of education. Principles of democratic coexistence constitute values that should inform the educational activity. The very structure of positive law sets an example for the person behaviour.
