Municipal ordinances are a valuable source of information about various aspects of the organization of life in the locality. Many of them contain legal provisions related to the equilibrium between exploitation and the necessary preservation of tree covered lands (woods). This analysis explores ordinances from the second half of the 16th century in the city of Nájera and its land.Downloads
