Abstract

R. Nozick was, within liberalism, the first great contradictor of J. Rawls. Faced with the bet of a clearly distributive and egalitarian “justice as fairness”, Nozick promoted an anarchist liberalism centered on the power of the market and its regulatory instruments with a State reduced to the most minimal expression. For this reason, R. Nozick's theory constitutes an interesting and provocative version of liberalism that has attracted numerous politicians and thinkers.
