The current legal regime of authorizations for vineyard sceding in the European Union aims to ensure the orderly growth of vineyard plantations and improve the competitiveness of the wine sector. The regulation has two main goals. On the one hand it is aimed to increase the competitiveness of the European Union’s wine sector as not to lose market share in the world market, and on the other hand, the mentioned regulation has the objective to avoid the rapid increase of new plantations that lead to a surplus of production.Downloads
