Th is study analyzes whether the generalized copayment system of the medi- caments established in 2012 places women pensioners at a particular disadvantage com- pared to male pensioners, generating indirect discrimination based on sex. Th e measures taken by the autonomous communities to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people are also studied. Th e investigation faces the obstacle that not always the offi cial data are off ered disaggregated by sex, which violates the state regulations on the matter
