Abstract

Recent data on self-employed workers reveal an aging process among this group and, therefore, warn of the need for a higher level of protection, particularly in terms of safety and health at work. This work critically analyzes certain cases of autonomous work at an advanced age, paying special attention to the coverage of common and work-related risks, as well as to the legal protection of the occupational health of this collective.
