The need to protect workers in health emergencies

Abstract

The contribution addresses the issue of digitalization and the need to protect workers in light of the health emergency caused by Covid 19. The areas around which reflection develops are resilience, fairness and equal opportunities, all of which are strained by the emerging situation that has forced all workers to leave their jobs to operate from within their homes. This emphasised some gender stereotypes, pointing out that the impact of Covid 19 is likely to fall mainly on working women
