The present work deals with aspects of the new legal regime of the discontinuous fixed contract, to begin with, some conceptual precisions are addressed, and the analysis of the new sub–modalities in which it is broken off, giving it greater plasticity, through which the legislator intends redirect much of the previous temporary employment. Many issues are only outlined and only some questions are raised, that is the modest purpose of this work, waiting for solutions to the problems raised in its practical application that will come little by little from the hand of the judicial resolutions.
