The article explores the employment law issues raised by the variety of types of compensation based on the price of shares. Thus, the study analyses their legal nature, their impact on severance compensation, the dynamics of theright and the cross–border aspects caused by the plan being devised and formulated under a law other than the law applicable to the employment relationship
