Few attempts have been made to evaluate the importance of the involvement of the Majorcan traders in the trans-Atlantic slavery system. This importance must be established linking dispersed elements of analysis. The in deep study of these elements can help to establish a more precise picture. One of these elements are the Majorcan family sagas in Puerto Rico and Cuba, while another important indicator is related to the general commotion produced by the British dispositions for the repression of the slave trade.Downloads
