Abstract

Este artículo pretende analizar el origen y la evolución del sistema comu-nista en Polonia en el período 1944-1989. El primer capítulo analiza las cau-sas de la llegada del comunismo al poder. El segundo, estudia los principales elementos sobre los que se sustentó el comunismo polaco tales como el tota-litarismo, el terror o la mentira. En el tercero, el autor sostiene que Polonia sufrió -pese a todo- un comunismo moderado en comparación con otros sis-temas comunistas.
