Abstract

En este artículo se analizan los discursos que en relación a la pobreza se han dado en los siglos XVI- XVIII. La finalidad de este trabajo es aportar algunas claves para una mejor comprensión de las relaciones sociales y de la idea que las clases, o los órdenes dominantes tenían en relación a la pobreza y los pobres. De acuerdo a este fin, se a prestar atención a los esquema defendidos por Vives, Pérez de Herrera, Soto, Medina, y los ilustrados, José del Campill o Ward, Rodríguez Campomanes, Jovellanos así como a la implementación legal que tuvo lugar en dicha época.
