Abstract

The criticised interconexions betweenfreemasonry and politics should be approachedfromsuchfieldsas politicalscience in order to define semantic nucleai with respect to power in practice. Butfreemasonryshold also be approached from the inside at different levels (jreemasons, lodges, Grand Lodges) overcoming al/ the obstacles and the complexity of an institution which, in Spain, since the 1868 Revolution has grown and set opinion in many political facts such as revolution. republicanism, colonialism, dictatorship, laicism, ... which shapes it into an injluential ideologicalgroup.
