Cameros region presents the peculiarity of guarding few castles, contrasting with the rest ofthe Rioja Autonomous Comunity where the architecture examples are plentiful, going from fort tower, to majestic castle, including walled enclosures, forted houses, caves with defensive elements, etc. Reasons of this caresty can be found in four principal points: -Removalfrom the large communications routes. - The pertenencyofa lotofvillas to the crown orto the nearbyabadys (Nájera or Valvanera). -The absence in the territory ofthe Military Orders. - The grandious vigour of the Mesta.Downloads
