Abstract

The remains ofthe Wall ofthe Town of Logroño found during the works ofthe Urban Planning Development round the church of Santiago el Real in his town are briefly described. The architecture ofboth sections, wallfront and bastion, shows two constructive periods: one befo re 1500 and other one ofthe second third ofthe 16th Century. The architecturalfeatures are related to the scarce documentary data. The main pottery remains, common and enamelled, and other remains of different materials from the 16th to the 20th Century are also described.
