Sobre "pero" enfático

Abstract

This article is an study about the particle "pero" in the discourse. "Pero" can be used as marker of modality, to mark the attitude of the speaker in the speech. In an use colloquial of the langue, we use "pero" to mark the emphasis in our speech ("Hace frío, pero frío"; "¡Vuelve aquí, pero volando!"; "¡Pero vete de aquí!"). In that use, "pero precedes" the piece of the discourse we want to emphatice. The intonation is always important. We study in the next pages the characteristics of that expressions with "pero": terms that it can emphatice, when pero can appear with que ("¡Está pero que muy guapa!"), or with intensives "(Me gusta pero muchísimo"), and other particularities the emphatic expressions with "pero" can present.
