Resumen

La memoria cultural nos sirve de marco de análisis para acercarnos a un recuerdo que se nos transmite a través de su doble vertiente individual y colectiva. Lo compartido es asumido por los individuos, que se adentran en un espacio transfronterizo para comprender su lugar en el mundo y la sociedad. En esta línea, el género de la ciencia ficción nos ofrece un marco de gran valor para estudiar estos fenómenos a partir de la crítica social que estas obras son capaces de llevar a cabo gracias al proceso de extrañamiento que generan en el lector. Nuestro propósito será, en este sentido, estudiar un aspecto concreto de la conversión de la figura femenina en un otro a partir del análisis de la presentación del arquetipo de la femme fatale que es llevado a cabo en la serie Dune: Prophecy (2024).
