La périphrase "estar + gérondif" n’est pas toujours aspectuelle

Il est déjà établi que <estar + gérondif> constitue un mécanisme permettant de rendre compte de la progression d’un évènement. Il semble alors logique que cette structure ne puisse se combiner avec des états, étant donné qu’ils ne possèdent pas de propriétés dynamiques. Cependant, on peut trouver des exemples tels que Juan está siendo amable qui montrent tout le contraire. Afin de justifier ce phénomène, on parle de « dynamisation ». Tout en étant correcte, cette description ne suppose qu’une analyse partielle, puis que d’autres énoncés comme Juan fue amable permettent également une interprétation évènementielle. Cela nous mène à constater qu’il faut reconnaître l’existence d’une structure homonyme de nature modale. Parallèlement nous décrirons la sémantique de <seguir + gérondif> d’une façon presque identique à celle de la périphrase avec estar dans sa valeur aspectuelle.Téléchargements
