This article presents the outcome of a piece of pedagogical research in the French classroom, carried out with first-year students of Translation and Interpreting (French) from theUniversityofMurcia.
The main aim was to analyse the structure of negative phrase in French. For that purpose and due to the attractive appeal of audio-visual media for students, the practical part focused on the dialogues of French film “Asterix at the Olympics Games”.
Among the most significant findings, we can mention the positive help that this type of tool has meant for the motivation of students and for learning a foreign language from a morphological perspective.
