The European Framework for Digitally Competent Educational Organisations (DigCompOrg) becomes the model that allows educational centers to undertake a digitization process in a systemic way. This work evaluates this process in a Compulsory Secondary Education center in the Region of Murcia during the 2018-2019 and 2020-2021 academic years with a total sample of 526 participants the first year and 461 participants the second −adding students, teachers and school leaders−. An evaluative research based on a mixed method and a single-case design is presented, in which quantitative (SELFIE questionnaire) and qualitative (discussion group) techniques are applied. The analysis of the information has focused on the thematic areas specifically related to the notion of educational organization contemplated by the European model: leadership, infrastructure and teams, evaluation and collaboration practices, and networks. The results allow the educational center to make a self-diagnosis of its digital capacity, as well as to establish actions to improve its digitization process. One of the main conclusions of the study is that these areas, despite being frequently relegated, are essential for any educational organization that aspires to be digitally competent.
